Sit ups

How to do a sit-up

Sit-ups are a great exercise to improve your fitness, your leg and abdominal muscle strength, and your flexibility. Here are the steps to do a sit-up.

  1. Firstly lie on the ground on your back and extend your legs slowly out so they are flat on the ground.

  1. Secondly, bend your legs up and put your feet flat on the ground.

  1. Thirdly put your hands behind your head and pull yourself up evenly till your about 3 cm away from your legs. Keeping your legs bent up and feet on the ground.

  1. Then slowly lower yourself down till your back is on the ground.  

  1. You have now completed one sit up. Repeat if you feel comfortable. After that continue the exercise every day for a month and you will be a lot stronger than you were before you started.
